Several moments after mom passed away, a hummingbird showed up at our feeder. Mom and the kids use to LOVE to watch them, and so one of the kids said, "hey mom, nana is here--at the hummingbird feeder!"
Every morning since mom passed, the hummingbird has been back to say good morning to us. Sometimes there has been 2 birds, and one of the kids said, "wow, there's nana AND papa!" . . . but "papa doesn't come every day, cause he's tired from all the dancing!"........ah, out of the mouth of babes! :)

love this story, and the photo is beautiful. too funny that papa is too tired from dancing!!! kidisms are great.
